About the podcast
What is ThinkRoom?
ThinkRoom is a long-form podcast where exceptional minds think out loud. Each episode is a candid, unscripted conversation with someone who has faced complexity, made irreversible choices, and led with heart. It covers strategy, leadership, and power, and increasingly the human side of AI. About 100 episodes have been published, and ThinkRoom is consistently top 3 in Sweden's leadership podcast category.
Most podcasts choose one world, the analytical or the existential. ThinkRoom refuses the choice. It is not an interview and not a performance. It is a place where brilliant minds think out loud without the pressure to have finished answers. The tagline says it plainly: Where Exceptional Minds Think Out Loud.
Who hosts ThinkRoom?
ThinkRoom is hosted by Johan Grönstedt, author of The Execution Revolution (2024) and a strategist with 15 years in management consulting and executive leadership, including tenure as Chief Product Officer in SaaS. Guests open up because he understands their context and can follow their reasoning without asking them to simplify.
Johan is not a journalist or a media personality. He has lived the leadership challenges his guests face daily: the strategic decisions, the execution pressure, the gap between brilliant plans and reality. His opening move is to take a guest out of performance mode: "I know where you come from, but I'm curious about where your brain is right now. What are you most stimulated by?"
What is ThinkRoom about?
ThinkRoom sits where the analytical and the existential meet: strategy, leadership, power, and decision-making on one side, and authenticity, what actually drives people, and the human side of AI on the other. The AI thread is not the technology itself but what it reshapes: how organizations work, how leadership changes when intelligence becomes abundant, and what happens to expertise and identity.
This is not a pivot. The same questions ThinkRoom has always explored, how remarkable people actually think, what drives them beneath the surface, and what it costs to lead, are now inseparable from the AI transformation reshaping every industry.
